Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Ideestep collects, why we collect it and how we look after it. It covers ideestep.com and every website and Google Business Profile project we take on.
What we collect
- Details you send through our enquiry form, email or WhatsApp: your name, phone number, email address and business details.
- Project material you share with us: questionnaire answers, logo, photographs and documents.
- Payment records needed to confirm a payment, such as the amount, date and transaction ID.
- Basic information about how visitors use this website, collected through Google Analytics.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and send quotes.
- To plan, build and look after your website or Google Business Profile.
- To send payment links, receipts and renewal reminders.
- To understand which pages help visitors and improve this website.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not send marketing messages you have not asked for.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use this website, for example which pages are visited and whether an enquiry form was sent. Google may set cookies to do this. The data reaches us as summary reports and is not used to identify you. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Online payments
Online payments are handled by Razorpay. Your card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay’s secure page and are never seen or stored by us. We only receive confirmation that the payment was made.
Who we share it with
Only with the services needed to deliver your project: our hosting provider, domain registrar, Google (for Business Profile work and analytics) and Razorpay (for payments). Each follows its own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep project records for as long as we work together, and for a reasonable time after that for accounts and support. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we need to keep it by law.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write to hello@ideestep.com and we will reply within 15 days.
